Dr. Modad’s Story
Dr. Modad was born and raised in Missouri but fell in love with the Pacific Northwest when she attended University of Washington for her undergraduate degree. She was introduced to the world of dentistry and surgery through Dr. Streelman when he invited her to join him on a dental service trip to Dembidollo, Ethiopia.
She earned her DDS at the University of Washington’s School of Dentistry. After graduating from dental school, she completed a three-year residency in Dental Anesthesiology at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Modad received extensive training in treating adult, pediatric, and special needs patients in both the private office and hospital settings. She is a diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
Professional Interests
She is passionate about providing safe, effective, and quality sedation for both Mercer Island Oral Surgery and the greater Seattle area.
Outside the Office
Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and hiking.
